Fireshow performances usually take place outdoors. This is the natural choice since we are dealing with a real element — fire. However, is it possible to perform such a show indoors at all?
The answer is yes, but many factors need to be taken into consideration. The most important ones include:
1. Large space – The venue where the fireshow is to take place must be very spacious. The ceiling should be very high, and the overall area sufficiently large. When such performances do happen indoors, they usually take place in large halls or film studios.
2. Suitable surface The area should be as non-flammable as possible, e.g. a concrete or stone floor.
3. Performers’ experience – This is a key factor. Only professionals specializing in this type of performance are able to assess whether the show will be safe and feasible. They also have the necessary knowledge about materials and how to conduct such a performance, selecting appropriate equipment and safety measures.
4. Proper permissions and safety measures – For this type of show, it is essential to have explicit permission from the venue management. Qualified personnel with appropriate fire safety equipment should also be present on site.
5. Proper ventilation – Due to the fumes produced by the fuel used in fireshows, effective ventilation of the venue is absolutely necessary.
From the above, it follows that there are situations where performing a fireshow indoors is possible, but it is a very complex process that requires highly suitable conditions.

As you can see, it is difficult to meet all the requirements, and it is quite rare to find a suitable venue for such a performance. As an alternative, an LED Showis certainly a great option, as it can be performed in almost any space.
